Big assertion made by Bengal BJP MP Dilip Ghosh: “PM Modi will take only two minutes to cool.”

Legislator for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal, Dilip Ghosh, attacked the governing Trinamool Congress and chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday, saying they were ruining the state. Additionally, he made the contentious assertion that it would only take “two minutes for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to settle all the unrest in Bengal” if he could resolve the Kashmir dispute.

Dilip Ghosh attacked the TMC administration for failing to act quickly to arrest party chief and prime suspect Sheikh Shahjahan, citing the turmoil in Sandeshkhali and the fact that rapists and thugs are protected under the party’s banner and were only apprehended in response to pressure from the media and opposition.

Under the cover of TMC, rapists and goons may be found in any area of the state. For two months, TMC gave criminal and rapist protection. He was immediately suspended from the party when the state police were compelled to arrest him as a result of our demonstrations and pressure from the media. Bengal has been ruined by the TMC. Everything has been taken by them, even women’s modesty and possessions. Dilip Ghosh was reported by news agency ANI as stating, “If PM Narendra Modi can calm down the Kashmir issue, it will take him only two minutes to calm down Bengal.”

The violence in Sandeshkhali town in the North 24 Parganas district is the latest topic the BJP is attempting to corner Mamata Banerjee on.

When it came to Shahjahan, PM Modi took aim at the chief minister of Bengal, claiming that the TMC politician was being shielded by the party and that the police had to arrest him only because the BJP leaders put pressure on the government.

“The nation is witnessing what the Trinamool Congress has done to the Sandeshkhali sisters.” Everyone in the nation is furious. Raja Ram Mohan Roy’s soul must have suffered over what transpired in Sandeshkhali, he added. “The police had to arrest the TMC leader yesterday after the BJP politicians put pressure on the government, and the party was defending him.

For more than two weeks, the village of Sandeshkhali was the scene of intense turmoil as female demonstrators demanded justice for the sexual harassment and land grabs perpetrated by Shahjahan. The TMC leader was apprehended on Thursday after he fled when an allegedly connected crowd fought ED officers who had gone to inspect his property in relation to a ration fraud in January of this year.
