Check out the warning after Delhi Metro outlaws creating reels inside of carriages

Have you ever recorded a humorous social media video or an Instagram clip while using the Delhi Metro? Or maybe you’ve seen someone else do it? In such case, we have some bad news to share with you.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has tweeted a clear message under the name “Johnny Johnny yes daddy,” making reference to a well-known nursery rhyme and closing with the question, “creating reels in metro? No, papa. Any behaviour that annoys passengers is expressly forbidden within the Delhi Metro, according to the DMRC.

Social internet has seen a rise of videos showing people making reels within the Delhi Metro. In response, the DMRC is advising users to abstain from creating reels within metro trains, highlighting the significance of keeping any behaviours that can annoy other users to a minimum.

Online interest in one specific video has grown significantly. The popular Bollywood song “Assalam-e-Ishqum” by Neha Bhasin and Bappi Lahiri is played while Priya Sharma, a young lady, dances to it. Some viewers of the video seemed to appreciate the entertaining act, while others were noticeably uncomfortable. The video instantly gained popularity and many people’s attention.

The DMRC is advising commuters to report such incidents right away to the closest metro employees or CISF in order to ensure that the appropriate actions may be taken. All passengers are expected to continue having a positive and hassle-free experience thanks to this action.

Different people have responded differently to the DMRC’s news online. Others are relieved that they may now “travel in peace” without being exposed to such actions, while others defend the right of people to express themselves in public spaces.

The DMRC has previously issued similar advisories. They previously issued a warning in response to the spreading of a video showing a couple making out in public. The DMRC emphasised in their statement at the time that they expected passengers to behave responsibly and stressed the value of utilising the Delhi Metro in a manner that is appropriate for society.
