Exams at Maharaja Ganga Singh University were postponed due to the Lok Sabha elections

All around the nation, the countdown to the next Lok Sabha elections is in full speed. Although there are seven distinct stages for the voting process, Rajasthan will only have two phases—April 19 and April 26. Maharaja Ganga Singh University in Bikaner has declared that the examinations planned for April 18 and April 20 will be postponed ahead of the elections.

Recent sources state that the decision was made to ensure a smooth polling procedure. The nation has declared the polling day to be a government holiday, which is another reason for the delay.

According to the notice that the university sent, the administration plans to provide the revised test timetable for students shortly. According to the previously published exam schedule, students registered for the 2023–24 batch were scheduled to take the tests from March 14–May 11.

Rajaram Choyal, Maharaja Ganga Singh University’s examination controller, said that several classes’ exams, including the graduation test, would now be postponed. A subsequent announcement will include the modified dates on the new date sheet. Students may visit mgsubikaner.ac.in, the university’s official website, for further information on the same.

In addition to this, Rajaram Choyal said that information on students who completed their degree programs at the university until 2022 has been posted to the official website. Students may notify the administration of any spelling errors in their names by visiting the official website and viewing the data there. The notice states that the changes will only be made until April 15.

There will be two stages to the Rajasthan Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Voting will take place in the first phase on April 19 in the following locations: Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa, and Nagaur.

Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota, and Jhalawar-Baran will be the sites of the voting sessions on April 2, which is the second phase.
