Four found guilty, six found not guilty in Nuh gangrape and murder case

Today, the Nuh district court of CBI Special Judge Rajeev Goyal found four people guilty and six not guilty in a 2016 case involving gangrape and double murder. The story had made headlines around the country.

Tejpal Yadav, Amit Yadav, Ravinder Yadav, Karamjit, Rahul Verma, and Sandeep were all found not guilty by the court, while Vinay, Jai Bhagwan, Hemant Chauhan, and Ayaan Chauhan were.

A family was sleeping outside when armed men broke into a farmhouse in a remote area of Nuh on the evening of August 24, 2016. While a 19-year-old lady and a 14-year-old child who were sleeping inside were gangraped, two of them were beaten and killed.

The next day, the police said that they had successfully solved the case after apprehending four young people from the area. The locals, who insisted that the teenagers were not engaged, were resentful as a result.

The CBI was subsequently given the case, and after concluding its inquiry, it produced a report.

The suspects were charged with a number of IPC offenses, such as gangrape, dacoity, and murder. Rejecting the accusations, the defendant requested a trial.

There was insufficient evidence to convict Tejpal Yadav, Amit Yadav, and Ravinder Yadav, according to their defense attorneys. The testimony of witnesses before the police, the CBI, and the court had contradictions. As a result, the court cleared six people.

Out of all the accused, only four were found guilty based on DNA matching and fingerprint evidence. On April 15, the sentence’s amount will be announced.
