Giving MSP to every crop is too difficult: MP Patiala Kaur Preneet

After presenting the BJP Lok Sabha election “Sankalp Patra” (manifesto) at the party headquarters here today, Patiala MP Preneet Kaur said that although the offer of MSP on five crops is still on the central panel’s table, delivering MSP on all the crops is extremely tough.

“The central panel’s offer of MSP for five harvests is still there. The crops that our farmers choose to grow are up to them, and I will personally ask the government to grant MSP for those. It is quite difficult to provide MSP for every crop, however. I have a question for the AAP administration. They used to claim that if you vote for them, you would get MSP in two minutes. Why are they breaking their word? when she responded to a question from the media.

“The Sankalp Patra, which the BJP—led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi—released is really visionary and development-centric,” Kaur said. Our agenda, which is entirely practical and devoid of any false promises or election giveaways, is centered on guiding India toward Viksit Bharat by 2047.

“The Sankalp Patra covers every segment of society, with a primary focus on 15 categories,” she said. The party has taken care of the aged by providing coverage for everyone over 60 under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, whether it is our ladies with programs like Lakhpati Didi and Nari Shakti Vandan Adhinayam or our workers with the e-Sharmik scheme. Our nation can only go ahead with Modi’s strong leadership and determination.”

Sanjeev Sharma Bittu, the district head of the BJP in Patiala, Harjit Singh Grewal, the national executive member, and her daughter Jai Inder Kaur led the group.
