Hyderabadi tourist killed in paragliding accident in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh; pilot detained

According to authorities, a Hyderabadi visitor lost his life in a paragliding mishap in the Kullu area of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. A tourism officer speculated that “human error” could have caused the disaster. According to the officer, a magistrate’s investigation into the occurrence has been ordered, and a paragliding pilot has been taken into custody.

Preliminary investigations claim that the pilot neglected to properly fasten the tourist’s safety belt.

Tourism official Kullu Sunaina Sharma told PTI that preliminary findings indicate that a “human error” may have caused the regrettable event. She stated there were no weather-related concerns, the location and equipment were authorized, and the pilot was registered.

She said that paragliding operations had been halted in the region. According to the official, a complaint has been filed under IPC sections 336 (act endangering personal safety of others) and 334 (voluntarily inflicting harm), and the pilot has been taken into custody. She also said that a magistrate’s investigation into the event has been mandated.
