In Omkareshwar, Shivraj presents a 108-foot statue of “Adi Shankaracharya”

In the presence of saints and religious gurus, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated a massive, 108-foot statue of the Hindu philosopher and saint “Adi Shankaracharya” on Thursday in Omkareshwar.

Adi Shankaracharya, an Indian philosopher who codified Advaita Vedanta’s teaching, created the multi-metal “Ekatmata ki Pratima” (Statue of Oneness), which heralds the start of the massive Ekatma Dham project’s first phase.

The project involves building the Advaita Lok museum, which will showcase Acharya Shankar’s (Adi Shankaracharya) life and philosophy via artifacts that convey this concept.

A component of the multi-phase initiative is the Acharya Shankar International Institute of Advaita Vedanta, which will act as a coordinating, research, and resource center for the study and promotion of Advaita Vedanta.

The enormous multi-metal monument shows Adi Shankaracharya as a 12-year-old kid, which is the age at which his Omkareshwar-based Guru Govindapada determined that Shankara was prepared to write comments on important spiritual books.

“My sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for coming to this important occasion, and my repeated salutations at the feet of Adi Guru Shankaracharya ji. Salute Jagadguru and bow at his feet. “The 108-foot-tall grand statue of Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya Ji, filled with auspiciousness, auspiciousness, and more auspiciousness, offering darshan of Advaita Vedanta, is filled with auspiciousness,” CM Chouhan stated.

Importantly, over 300 eminent national “Vedic Archaks” conducted vedic ritual worship atop Mandhata Mountain prior to the unveiling of the “Statue of Oneness” under the supervision of Prasthanatray Bhashya Parayan and Dakshinamnaya Shringeri Sharda Peeth.
