In Patiala, students organize a voter awareness campaign

According to college principal Dharminder Singh Ubha, Khalsa College Patiala students have been urging people to vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections via a variety of events, including street dramas and voter awareness campaigns.

The District Election Officer issued the order to start the campaign.

Jagtar Singh, the Head of the Political Science Department and College SVEEP Nodal Officer, urged college students and the public to cast their ballots free from drugs, fear, or greed.

He urged every district citizen to use their right to vote and contribute significantly to the largest celebration of democracy on June 1 by choosing their chosen representative.

The Election Commission’s flagship initiative, SVEEP, raises voter awareness and encourages voter literacy throughout the nation.
