India’s prosperity depends on energy efficiency, says the Power Minister

At the state-level energy conservation awards ceremony, which the department hosted to support businesses, property owners, academic institutions, creative projects, and energy auditors, Haryana’s Minister of Power and New and Renewable Energy Department, Ranjit Singh, stated that energy efficiency is essential to India becoming a developed nation.

Throughout the event, many prizes for energy efficiency and conservation were given out.

The Energy Agency has introduced state-wide public-focused renewable energy and energy-saving programs, according to AK Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of the agency.

According to S Narayanan, Director General of Haryana’s New and Renewable Energy Department, the state honors energy users annually in a number of categories for their achievements in energy efficiency and conservation.

Victora Lifts Private Limited, Faridabad, and Jindal Stainless Limited, Hisar, shared the prize for the industry category over 1.0 MW connected load.

Awards were also handed out during the occasion for commercial buildings 1.0 MW and above, government buildings 500 KW and above, and categories of industries below 1.0 MW.
