Mallikarjun Kharge claims that the administration of Narendra Modi has made the country’s healthcare system “sick,” whereas Mandviya blames the United Progressive Alliance for its “failure”

Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress party, made the accusation on Sunday that the central government has made the health system of the nation “sick,” claiming that even AIIMS facilities are struggling with a lack of employees. This prompted Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to respond angrily.

Kharge attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the social media platform X, which was previously known as Twitter. He did so by quoting a media article that said 19 All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are struggling with a lack of physicians and other staff members.

“Loot and jumlas have contributed to the ill state of the nation. Every single thing that Modi ji says can only be shown to be a falsehood. (The government) said that it had established a large number of AIIMS. The reality is that our AIIMS are struggling with a significant lack of physicians and other staff members,” the head of the Congress party remarked in Hindi.

“Mr. Modi, from your indifference during the coronavirus outbreak to the fraudulent practices in the Ayushman Bharat program… Kharge made the accusation that the state of the nation’s healthcare system was due to the actions of the government.

“The people have been awakened, your deceit has been recognized, and the time has come for the farewell of your government,” he continued. “The time has come for your government’s farewell.”

In a series of postings on X, Mandaviya responded to Kharge’s claims by stating that although just one AIIMS was established under the tenure of the Congress party, the Modi administration is in the process of building 15 AIIMS.

“Reverend Kharge ji, our motives are honest and transparent..!! I have faith that you will see things as they are. During the 50 years while Congress was in power, one AIIMS was established. According to what the minister stated in Hindi, “Six AIIMS (were opened) during the tenure of (former prime minister Atal Bihari) Vajpayee ji, and 15 new AIIMS are being opened during the tenure of Modi ji.”

“It is expected that you will also try to understand that in accordance with the requirement of AIIMS, phase-wise recruitment has been done from time to time when new departments opened,” he added. “This has been done from time to time when new departments opened.”

He added that Prime Minister Modi had presented over 5 lakh recruitment letters to the young of the nation at the ‘Rozgar Mela’, adding that they were provided on the basis of merit and not on the basis of nepotism.

Mandaviya requested from Kharge that he inform the people of the nation about any successes the UPA has had in the area of the health sector.

“The nation is fully aware of the failures that occurred during the time of the UPA, as well as the methods that are being used to deceive it at the current time.

“The Modi government has opened new AIIMS, and we will also recruit people, so you just keep watching and giving us suggestions,” the minister told the audience.
