Mamata will go to Jhargram and participate in a program on Indigenous Peoples Day

According to an official, Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, would attend a celebration of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples on Wednesday in the Jhargram district.

According to him, Banerjee would go from Kolkata to Jhargram on Tuesday. She will see the many programs being implemented in the area, such as the piped drinking water connections, and she will also attend a ceremony when a number of government initiatives will be launched, the official added.

 

On Monday, Chief Secretary HK Dwivedi met with the district administration to discuss the status of several projects.

 

On Wednesday night, the chief minister will return to Kolkata.
