Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that India is promoting the Ayush sector in an effort to unite the world

According to Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, India is attempting to unite the globe by promoting the Ayush sector under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After opening an Ayush facility at the nearby Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sonowal was speaking at a gathering.

According to the minister, during the last nine years Ayush has grown in popularity and legitimacy throughout the globe, and people are increasingly adopting it as a tool to improve their lives. Sonowal said the Ayush center at the GMCH is dedicated to the people of Goa and would be the first of its kind in the nation.

To “disseminate information, education, and communication” about Ayush (Ayurveda, yoga, naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and homeopathic) across the state, he made a plea to the state government. The minister recommended that the state government set up camps in the towns and encourage more involvement from the populace.

Ayush, according to Sonowal, never received the attention it deserved until 2014, and only a few traditional healers had kept it alive in the countryside.

He said that it was Prime Minister Modi who popularized Ayush and urged scientists to concentrate on developing medical treatments for different diseases in Ayush that are based on scientific facts.
