Modi attacks Mamata government, saying it never succeeded in promoting the welfare of women, for “protecting culprits of Sandeshkhali.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked on Wednesday, taking aim directly at the Mamata Banerjee-led administration in West Bengal, claiming that all of his resources had been used to shield the Sandeshkhali offenders.
He accused the West Bengal administration of failing to safeguard the state’s citizens.
“TMC government can never provide protection to women whereas, the BJP government has decided to award life imprisonment for heinous crimes like rape,” Modi remarked, speaking at the Nari Shakti Vandan Abhinandan event in Barasat, West Bengal.
He claimed that while the Center had set up a “Women Helpline” to facilitate the simple filing of women’s complaints, the TMC government was preventing it from operating in West Bengal. He emphasized that the welfare of women can never be served by this TMC administration.
“The women of this country have been tortured under the TMC’s rule,” Modi said. Anybody would be ashamed of what transpired in Sandeshkhali, yet the TMC administration is indifferent to your problems.
Both the Supreme Court and the High Court have sent a shockwave to the state administration. He accused the TMC administration of having complete faith in their leader but not in the ladies of West Bengal, saying that the party’s officials have perpetrated crimes against the state’s women.
He claimed to have kept his word, removing the Triple Talaq and bolstering the socioeconomic, basic, and constitutional rights of Muslim women.
The PM said that TMC was an eclipse that would prevent the state from moving forward and that every region of the state should see lotuses blossom.
PM Modi became tearful as he spoke before the gathering. “I left my home at an early age,” he said. I once traveled around the nation with a bag in tow. Despite my lack of money, I never went a day without food in my stomach. People showed me concern throughout that time.
He said that by fighting for the nation’s women, he was attempting to pay back that obligation.
He requested that everyone at the rally turn on their cell phones so that the words “Nari shakti and nari vandana” would be shown.
“The INDI Alliance has started to shake now that the NDA is forming its government at the Center,” Modi said. They have now begun to verbally insult me. They want to know about my relatives. They claim that since I am single, I speak against “Parivarvad.” These folks are curious about my family. I want these “Parivarvadis” to see our get-together and realize that everyone in attendance is a member of my family.
