Omar Abdullah and Rahul Gandhi, the “spoon-fed kids,” have never given up anything personally: Ghulam Nabi Azad

Sangaldan: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad refuted the assertions made by the Congressman that he is fighting the BJP with “bravery,” saying that Gandhi is “hesitant” to run from the BJP-ruled states.

He went on to say that Gandhi takes sanctuary in places where the proportion of minorities is notably higher.

Gandhi and Omar Abdullah, the vice president of the National Conference (NC), were mocked by Azad, who called them “spoon-fed kids” instead of politicians and said that neither had accomplished anything on their own.

Why is Rahul Gandhi reluctant to run in places where the BJP is in power? Gandhi says he is against the BJP, but his actions don’t support that assertion. Why flee to states controlled by minorities and seek safety in those run by the BJP? Speaking at public gatherings in Sangaldan and Ukhral, which are parts of the Udhampur Lok Sabha seat, Azad said.

While promoting his party’s nominee, G M Saroori, Azad attacked the party for what he described as their “reluctance” to face-to-face conflicts and their “tendency to seek out safe seats,” which are districts with sizable minorities.

He accused the party of favoring “safe seats” in places like Kerala and questioned the party’s will to take on the BJP locally.

Formerly close to the Nehru-Gandhi family, Azad said that Gandhi and Abdullah are not politicians but rather “spoon-fed kids.” They are only enjoying the political legacies passed down to them from leaders like as Sheikh Abdullah and Indira Gandhi, without having made any personal sacrifices in their lives. Together, they have accomplished nothing,” he said.

“Instead of the BJP, Abdullah is running a campaign against the DPAP in the Chenab valley. It is his responsibility to split the secular voters. He stated, “He didn’t do anything for his own constituency.
