opposing group INDIA MPs start planning their approach in front of the vote of no confidence

In order to plan their approach for the floor of the House, the leaders of the I.N.D.I.A. parties met in the Rajya Sabha LoP’s office in Parliament as the debate on the no-confidence resolution that would be discussed in the Lok Sabha today got underway.

On Tuesday, the Lower House of Parliament will begin debating a vote of no confidence against the Narendra Modi administration. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who was restored as a member of the Lok Sabha a day earlier, will serve as the debate’s moderator.

Three days after the Supreme Court stayed his criminal defamation conviction in the case involving the Modi surname, Rahul Gandhi was restored as a member of the Lok Sabha on Monday.

A motion of no confidence will be brought against the Narendra Modi-led NDA government. The I.N.D.I.A group of opposition parties introduced the resolution of no confidence, which Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla approved.

A time of 12 hours has reportedly been set for the debate, according sources. The Congress party has been given around one hour and fifteen minutes, while the governing BJP will have almost seven hours to participate in the debate.

Shiv Sena, YSRCP, JDU, BJD, BSP, BRS, and LJP each received a total of two hours, which were split up based on the number of MPs from each party present in the House. Other parties and independent MPs have been given a time restriction of one hour and ten minutes.

On August 8 and 9, the Lok Sabha is slated to have a discussion on the motion of no confidence against the BJP-led government. On August 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to respond.

The opposition’s no-confidence resolution will be the main topic of discussion in the Lok Sabha for the first day of a three-day debate.

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, had said that the Centre has nothing to conceal and that he is prepared for dialogue on Manipur. He said that he is prepared to speak if Mallikarjun Kharge, the leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha, agrees to examine the matter on August 11.

Since the commencement of the monsoon session of Parliament on July 20, opposition lawmakers have requested debate in the Rajya Sabha according to Rule 267.

Since the beginning of the Monsoon Session on July 20, when the Manipur violence problem was raised, the Rajya Sabha has been stuck in a similar situation.

After ethnic violence between the two tribal tribes of Meities and Kukis, Manipur had been in the news for the previous three months, and the Manipur High Court had directed the state government to take into consideration adding one of the communities to the list of Scheduled Tribes.
