PM Modi postponed his visit and may run for office in Andhra Pradesh on May 7 and 8

The planned trip by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Andhra Pradesh to support NDA candidates has been rescheduled. Rather than the previously suggested dates of May 3 and 4, Modi is likely to visit the State on May 7 and 8, according to sources.

Party leaders claim that the PM’s Office has provided a revised itinerary and informed them that Modi is unable to visit the State on the previously suggested dates. But Modi’s constituency visit will cover the same ground. According to sources, BJP officials want to have a public gathering in Vemagiri or a nearby location close to Rajamahendravam, which is about halfway between the Lok Sabha seats of Narasapuram, Kakinada, Eluru, and Amalapuram. Daggubati Purandeswari, the head of the Party State unit, is running for the Rajamahendravaram Lok Sabha seat.

Another public gathering, from which former chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is running for the Rajampet Lok Sabha seat, is scheduled for Pileru or Kalikiri. ~

The best locations would be Pileru or Kalikiri since it would be easy to mobilize people from the Chittoor and Tirupati MP areas as well. According to the reports, there would probably be another public gathering in Anakapalle to address the Lok Sabha seats of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and Araku. There will be a roadshow in the city of Vijayawada. According to further sources, the party is organizing campaigns led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, national president of the party JP Nadda, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, and others.
