Rahul Gandhi during a Maharashtra electoral rally: “We will create crores of lakhpatis, Modi caters to 25 billionaires.”

Nagpur/Amravati: Senior Congressman Rahul Gandhi said on Friday that the INDI coalition will generate “crores of lakhpatis” via a range of social programs if elected to power. Speaking at a crowded gathering in Paratwada, Amravati, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was prioritizing the “needs of 25 billionaires” above the interests of the average person. Gandhi said that his party would form a panel to forgive loans for farmers instead of for large corporations.

Gandhi said that a new legislation that guarantees paid apprenticeship to diploma holders and graduates would create “crores of lakhpatis.” He also mentioned that the Congress has prepared a number of “revolutionary” programs for women, young people, and farmers.
