Rajasthan’s Chief Minister urges youth to embrace Gandhi’s ideals

Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, urged young people on Tuesday to identify with Gandhi’s ideas, adding that they are especially relevant in the current stressful situation throughout the world.

Gehlot used video conferencing to address a training session on Gandhian philosophy that the state government’s office of peace and non-violence had organized at the Birla Auditorium.

He said that only by adhering to his ideas and principles would it be feasible to build a department dedicated to peace and non-violence.

As we go along this course, we must deepen democracy and contribute significantly to the development of the nation, he remarked.

The trainees will contribute in Rajasthan’s growth, the chief minister reportedly stated in a statement.

He asserted that only through peace and non-violence could society be kept in a state of mutual love, harmony, and brotherhood. The fundamental tenet of our culture is likewise based on this.

He said that the younger generation need to identify with Mahatma Gandhi’s principles.

Although there is unrest in many nations throughout the globe, he said that India is still strong and unified because Gandhiji’s ideals are inscribed in the Indian Constitution.

According to Gehlot, the Department of Peace and Non-Violence was established in Rajasthan for the first time in the nation to deliver Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings to every home.

C P Joshi, speaker of the Rajasthan Assembly, was in attendance. On Wednesday, those from the divisions in Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Ajmer will get training.
