On January 26, 2024, India will celebrate its 75th Republic Day to mark the adoption of the country’s constitution. Every year, a parade spectacle is held to commemorate the day on New Delhi’s Rajpath, which is now called Kartavya Path. This year’s Republic Day parade is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. and will go from Vijay Chowk to Kartavya Path.
This year’s parade’s chief guest will be none other than French President Emmanuel Macron. Notably, the R-Day parade included educational tableaus based on many states in addition to showcasing its military might.
TICKETS FOR REPUBLIC DAY PARADE
The cost of the allocated tickets for the Republic Day parade ranges from Rs 500 to Rs 200 to Rs 20, depending on where you sit. Bookings for the tickets will begin on January 10.
Rs 500 (Front Rows) is reserved.
Rs. 100 (middle rows), unreserved
Unreserved: Rs 20 (limited view seats in the back)
For kids under five, there is no need for a ticket.
WAYS TO GET TICKETS
The India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) Travel counters, Departmental Sale counters, and Delhi Tourism Development Corporation (DTDC) counters are the offline locations where you may purchase Republic Day tickets. Additionally, tickets may be purchased at booths at the Government of India Tourist Office at Janpath, Sena Bhawan, Pragati Maidan, Jantar Mantar, Shastri Bhawan, and the Parliament House Reception Office.
Remember that the Parliament House Reception Office is closed on weekends and holidays, and the Government of India Tourist Office is closed on Sundays.
You will be required to provide your information on a form in order to purchase the tickets. Make sure to bring these with you since you will also be required to provide an identification card and a photocopy of the card.
