Resolution To Congratulate Chandrayaan Mission And ISRO Adopted By West Bengal Assembly

The West Bengal Assembly on Thursday passed a resolution congratulating the scientists and all others connected to ISRO, the leading space research organization, for the successful landing of lander module Vikram on the lunar south pole on August 23. This comes as the country celebrates the success of Chandrayaan-3.

Speaker Biman Banerjee moved the resolution designating ISRO’s successful mission as a “golden chapter” shortly after the question-and-answer session. He said that everyone should honor each scientist connected to the trip.

The resolution would be sent to the ISRO by the Assembly secretary through the state administration, according to Banerjee.

Chandrima Bhattacharya, MOS Finance (Independent charge), and Chief Whip Manoj Tigga both spoke in favor of the measure.

With our tricolor flying proudly above the lunar south pole zone, it is one of our finest accomplishments. More than 22 Bengali scientists are also working on this project, according to Bhattacharya.

While the developed world hasn’t been able to reach the moon’s south polar region, our lander made a gentle landing there, according to Tigga. For everyone, the Chandrayan-3 mission is a source of immense pride.
