Rohtak businessmen extend a hearty welcome to Congressman Deepender

Local businesspeople welcomed Congress Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Singh Hooda with open arms as he reached out to them as part of the ‘Ghar-Ghar Congress, Har Ghar Congress’ campaign after the announcement of today’s Lok Sabha elections.

During his door-to-door campaign on Railway Road, Deepender—who is expected to run for the Rohtak Lok Sabha seat—heard the complaints of the merchants.

The traders expressed their excitement for this day. All commerce and business had been destroyed by the government’s misguided policies. They bemoaned the fact that the market was in recession due to the inadequate condition of law and order,” the MP stated in a statement released today.

Deepender observed that the four main societal groups—farmers, laborers, merchants, and employees—were dissatisfied with how the government was operating.

The misgovernance, corruption, inflation, unemployment, and increased crime under the BJP administration have become a source of frustration for the whole state, he said.

According to the Congress leader, Haryana, which was ranked as one of the safest states in the nation when the Hooda administration was in office, is now ranked number 17 in terms of development and first in terms of inflation, unemployment, drug addiction, crime, and corruption. Today’s young in Haryana are leaving the state for other states or overseas owing to the state’s historically high unemployment rate. Many young people are being entangled in the maze of drug use and criminal activity, he said.

He joked, “Big projects like an international airport and a rail coach factory were shifted to other states and 10 approved health institutes were cancelled due to the weak government in the state.”

The old-age pension in Haryana would be increased to Rs 6,000 upon our election to power. The Congress leader said that all households would get 300 free units of power and that the cost of an LPG cylinder would be lowered to Rs 500.
