Shah and senior RSS leaders meet for a whole day to talk about economic matters

Union Home Minister Amit Shah met with senior office-bearers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its affiliated organizations on Thursday, along with a few of his cabinet colleagues, to discuss the status of the nation’s economy and related issues. The meeting took place one day after he met with JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, at his residence in New Delhi.

The sources claim that during the meeting, the RSS officials received a briefing on the economic policies of the Center and the initiatives taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to improve the nation’s major economic indexes.

Sources who were present at the meeting said that the focus was on informing the public about the Center’s economic initiatives in advance of the next state and national elections.

Key members of the central cabinet, including Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Commerce and Industries Minister Piyush Goyal, Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav, and Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey, attended the meeting, which was held at the NDMC Convention Centre in the nation’s capital.

Joint general secretary Arun Kumar and other high ranking officials from Sangh affiliates including Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Laghu Udyog Bharati, and Grahak Panchayat were among the top RSS functionaries present at the conference.

“The purpose of the meeting was to guarantee enhanced cooperation between the government and these organizations concerning different financial, labor, cooperative, textile, and heavy industry-related issues,” an insider said.

In addition, during the meeting, the central cabinet members in charge of five important ministries provided thorough presentations that highlighted the work and achievements in their respective fields during the nine years that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the BJP, has been in power at the federal level.

The main conclusions drawn from each of the five Union ministers’ presentations, which were attended by Sangh affiliates and RSS officials.

According to sources, Shah met with senior RSS officials on Wednesday, including the joint general secretary, general secretary, and senior officers, to discuss issues of national significance. The meeting was attended by top BJP leaders, Nadda, Singh, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

This seminar, which focused on employment and career prospects along with other vital themes, was conducted all day at the NDMC Convention Center.
