The Congress attacks the BJP manifesto, referring to it as a “warranty of rhetorics.”

Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge called the BJP’s Lok Sabha election manifesto a “warranty of jumlas” on Sunday, referring to it as a “jumla patra” as opposed to a “Sankalp Patra,” which is what the manifesto has been dubbed.

Rahul Gandhi, a Congress MP, remarked that the governing party’s platform was mute on two important issues: unemployment and price increases.

Senior Congresswoman Priyanka Gandhi Vadra called it a “eyewash,” claiming that the actual goal of the saffron party is to amend or destroy the Constitution. She said that every candidate for the party is carrying a “Change Constitution Patra” and discussing amending the Constitution in their speeches.

Additionally, the Congress said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was moving the goalposts by bringing up 2047 instead of addressing the problem of employment, doubling farmers’ earnings, and addressing price increases and inflation.

Kharge accused the PM of not doing any significant job during his administration that would have helped the nation’s farmers, youth, and populace.

On April 14, Modi unveiled the BJP’s platform for the Lok Sabha election in the national capital party headquarters. Kharge said that while the BJP platform stated nothing about it, young people were protesting for employment and that food costs had increased as a result of inflation. He accused Modi of having merely raised inflation and unemployment throughout the previous ten years.

There’s no responsibility for previous assurances—just meaningless double talk! “‘Warranty of jumlas (rhetoric)’ equals ‘Modi ki Guarantee,'” he said in a Hindi post, asking the PM 14 questions.

Speaking at a joint news conference, Congress spokesman Pawan Khera said that while Modi had pledged in his 2014 platform to create a special task force to seek back black money, electoral bonds ended up being the result.

Additionally, Khera said that while PM Modi has been silent about the ongoing violence in Manipur, Khera said that he had pledged to strengthen law and order in the Northeast.

Khera further said that while Modi had pledged to end poverty in 100 areas with a special package, the Hunger Index data shows otherwise.
