The IGNOU MA Program in Migration and Diaspora Registration Period Ends on July 31, Check Details

The Master of Arts in Migration and Diaspora online application period will be closed by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on July 31. The application procedure is for the July 2023 admission cycle at IGNOU. By going to the MAMIDI program’s official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, applicants may submit their applications. The entire course brochure and eligibility requirements are available to students on the official IGNOU website.

The Master of Arts in Migration and Diaspora programme was made available via Open and Distance Learning (ODL) by IGNOU in March 2023. Beginning with the January 2023 cycle, it will be the first of its type to be released in India using the ODL mode.

Candidates who sign up for this particular program will get both paper copies and digital versions of the course materials.They will also have interactive counseling sessions and work from audio-visual programs. The MAMIDI course is taught in English.

IGNOU MAMIDI: CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY

A minimum of two years and a maximum of four years are required to complete this course. All applicants for the MAMIDI program must have a diploma from an accredited institution in one of the required disciplines.

FEE STRUCTURE AT IGNOU MAMIDI

The cost of the MA program is Rs 12,000 ($6,000 per year plus any applicable application or development fees). Both paper and digital versions of the MAMIDI study material are available. Around 100 applicants are expected to participate in the MAMIDI course per cycle. Additionally, this curriculum carries 80 credits altogether, or 40 credits every session.
