Three Statues Competing To Be The “Best” Ram Lala Idol Before The Ayodhya Event

Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: Three statues of Ram Lala are being crafted for the ceremonial inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, next month. The “best” sculpture will be positioned in the garbhagriha, or inner sanctorum.

Three sculptors are creating the statues of Rama Lala: Ganesh Bhatt, Arun Yogiraj, and Satyanarayan Pandey.

One of the three idols will be housed in the sanctum sanctorum, according to the temple trust, while the other two will be stored in other areas of the Ram Mandir. The charity said that “one that brings to life the tenderness of a five-year-old child” will be selected.

According to trust executives, the decision will be made shortly.

On January 22, of next year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present for the opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

One week before to the major event on January 16, the Vedic rites for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will commence. At the consecration event, Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid and Lakshmi Kant Dixit will conduct the principal ceremonies.

In order to guarantee that visitors have a positive experience during the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Mandir, local officials are preparing for the expected spike in visitors. They are strengthening security protocols and organizing logistics.

According to authorities, security cameras have been placed all throughout the town, and drones will be used to examine the security.

In addition, the temple village is ready to feed the thousands of worshippers. “Langars, community kitchens, food distribution centers, and meal areas will be set up in every corner of the town,” according to the temple trust.
