Hyderabad: On Friday, Ch Malla Reddy, a senior BRS leader whose future political allegiance is still up in the air, made some fascinating comments in which he said that Eatala Rajender, a BJP member, was likely to win the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat.

The leaders of the BRS and the BJP met on Friday in a function venue. Malla Reddy saw Eatala, walked up to him, gave him a hug, and said he was convinced he would win, saying, “You will win, for sure. In this constituency, who else could win if not you? You deserve to win this one.” Additionally, Malla Reddy posed for a picture with the BJP contender.

As they watched his interactions, the BRS activists were shocked by the former minister’s statements.

The BRS now holds all seven segments in the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency.

Malkajgiri Assembly segment is represented by Malla Reddy, together with his son-in-law, Marri Rajashekhar Reddy.

The BRS has designated Ragidi Lakshma Reddy as its nominee for this specific segment. The BRS leader’s candid remarks endorsing Rajender have raised questions about his potential future political allegiances.

Some authorities have conjectured that Malla Reddy could be affiliated with the BJP, citing his vocal endorsement of Rajender as proof.
