Today, the whole world listens when India speaks: Rajnath Singh

Rajnath Singh, the Indian defense minister, said earlier on Sunday that although India’s remarks were not taken seriously at international forums, everyone now pays attention when it talks.

During a speech as part of a three-day tour to his parliamentary district of Lucknow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India’s stature has grown worldwide during his administration.

“Whereas formerly India’s statements in international forums were not taken seriously, presently the whole world pays close attention when India talks. According to a news release from the local BJP unit, he stated after opening an open gym at Mrityunjay Park in Nirala Nagar: “You must have seen on TV how he is greeted there when our prime minister visits other nations.

“Australia’s prime minister refers to him (Modi) as Boss. The American President tells Modi, “You are globally powerful,” and he asks for his signature. Muslim nations likewise regard him with the utmost esteem. The Papua New Guinean Prime Minister reached out to touch the feet. Every Indian ought to feel honored, he added.

India is the world’s fastest-growing economy right now, according to Singh. According to him, India’s GDP, which was the 11th biggest in 2013–2014, is now the fifth largest.

BrahMos missiles, according to Singh, would be produced in Lucknow by domestic and international engineers. He said that specific railway lines would be built to transport the missiles, adding that many people here will also find jobs.

According to him, roughly 100 gym parks have been constructed in Lucknow, and plans call for the construction of 500 such parks and open gyms.

According to him, community-based senior care facilities will be built for Rs 40 crore in each of Lucknow’s five assembly districts.
