Weather Update: IMD forecasts heavy fog in the north and rain in certain areas of south India

The remains of Cyclone Michaung become a depression as it weakens, opening the door for a meteorological pattern that is predicted to deliver rainfall to a large portion of the nation. Parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Mahe are among the states for which the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rainfall warning.

IMD has predicted mild to moderate rainfall for different locations, with a few isolated spots expected to get significant precipitation. On December 8 and 9, Kerala and Mahe are predicted to encounter similar circumstances, and on December 9, there is probably going to be rain in Tamil Nadu.

Additionally, IMD predicts that on December 7, there will be intense fog in some areas across Punjab and Haryana-Chandigarh during the early hours.
