David Warner’s Dance on “Srivalli” and “Pushpa Celebration” Has the Hyderabad Crowd Going Wild

Australia, a five-time global champion, defeated Pakistan by a slim margin on Tuesday in Hyderabad in their penultimate exhibition match before the ODI global Cup in 2023. With the help of Glenn Maxwell’s (77 off 71) and Cameron Green’s (50* off 40) contributions, the Pat Cummins-led team scored a staggering 351/7 in 50 overs. In response, Iftikhar Ahmed (83) and Mohammad Nawaz (50) both made noteworthy contributions but they weren’t enough to prevent a 16-run loss as Babar Azam hit 90 off 59 balls.

Apart from Australia’s overall performance, David Warner’s dancing routines were the star of the night. The Australian batter is a die-hard lover of Allu Arjun and Telugu cinema.

Additionally, given that Warner was performing in Hyderabad, he couldn’t help but show off his dancing talents to the songs from the hit film Pushpa: The Rise.

The ‘Srivalli’ song, which was played before the game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, caused a stir among the crowd as Warner performed the song’s hook dance.

Additionally, he performed the “Pushpa” dance after taking a catch off Sean Abbott’s bowling in the 12th over to eliminate Abdullah Shafique.

In another video that quickly gained popularity on social media, Warner could be seen dancing close to the line.

In the first warm-up game against the Netherlands, Warner did not bat, but he still managed to wow the Hyderabad crowd with his fluid hitting, which featured two sixes off Rauf.

Before his ankle injury, Maxwell was at his most ruthless, which bodes well for him and his squad moving into the World Cup opener against India on October 8.

Maxwell, who is renowned for his daring strokeplay, struck a memorable six with a reverse sweep off Nawaz’s bowling.

Sean Abbott, Mitchell Starc, and captain Pat Cummins all bowled six overs. Up to eight bowlers, including Steve Smith and Warner, were deployed by Australia. Warner took a beating, scoring 41 runs in only two overs.
