“It Was The First Time…”, Aakash Chopra’s Incredibly Funny Reaction To Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Wild Batting

It’s a fantastic point made by former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra that Travis Head has never slapped a team that wasn’t named India. In Bengaluru on Monday, Sunrisers Hyderabad set a massive 288-run total for Royal Challengers Bangalore when Head smashed 102 runs off only 41 balls. Hyderabad’s impressive total was fueled by his devastating century.

Bangalore was limited to 262/7 by the visiting bowlers, headed by Pat Cummins (3/43), who displayed exceptional talent on a barren surface, something their opponents lacked. With 549 runs in total, this IPL match saw the most runs scored in a single T20 match ever.

Hyderabad got off to a great start thanks to Head and Abhishek Sharma, according to a video that Chopra posted on his YouTube page. He said that, for once, Head defeated a team without the word “India” in their name.

“These days, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head only score points from both ends. A ditch at one end and a well at the other were battering the bowlers like drums. They did not stop striking. For once, my heart felt a bit eased,” Chopra said.
