Neymar is reportedly moving from PSG to Al Hilal for $100 million

Brazilian sensation Neymar, who is now playing for PSG, is reportedly planning to leave the Parisian club and join Al Hilal in the ambitious Saudi Pro League.

The 31-year-old is expected to sign a two-year contract to play for the Saudi Arabian club, keeping him there until June 30, 2025.

One of the greatest performers in contemporary football opted to join the middle eastern enterprise, thus the transfer cost is anticipated to be in the range of 100 million euros.

After a very successful stint with Catalan club FC Barcelona, Neymar moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 in a record-breaking 222 million euro transfer deal.

Neymar had a decent start to his stay in Paris, but the Brazilian maestro was unable to assist the Parisian club win the coveted UEFA winners League championship, which has eluded the Ligue 1 winners to this day.

The 31-year-old won domestic championship after domestic championship with the French club, but European success eluded him despite the squad reaching the 2020 UCL final and eventually falling to Bayern Munich.

The club’s players and the ultras developed a gap as a result of the team’s recurrent inability to replicate home dominance on the continental level. The ultras did not hold back in expressing their anger and seized every chance to jeer and boo the superstar.

The repeated injuries that prevented Neymar from playing during crucial moments in the team’s season year after year did nothing to improve his reputation among the PSG fans.

Following the departure of former teammate Lionel Messi, who joined David Beckham-owned MLS team Inter Miami after becoming disenchanted with life in the Parisian club, the Brazilian superstar’s extravagant lifestyle also drew criticism. The fans of the club did not spare the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner from their wrath after yet another early exit from the UCL last year.
