The SAFF U16 Women’s Cships squad is named by coach Biby Thomas

The 23-person team for the next SAFF U16 Women’s Championship, which is set to take place in Lalitpur, Nepal, from March 1 to 10, was revealed by head coach Biby Thomas Muttath on Monday.

The final 23 players were picked from the probables, who had been practicing in Goa after their selection in a selection trial. On Tuesday, February 27, the crew is scheduled to travel for Nepal.

The U16 competition is being contested for the first time this year. India defeated Bangladesh in the championship match both times to win the SAFF U15 Women’s Championship in 2018 and 2019.

The 23-person Indian team for the SAFF U16 Women’s Championship is:

Goalkeepers: Surajmuni Kumari, Munni, and Konjengbam Tamphasana Devi.

Defenders: Divyani Linda, Elizabed Lakra, Amrita Ghosh, Bonifila Shullai, Rheanna Liz Jacob, Rupashree Munda, and Sarangthem Alena Devi.

The following players are midfielders: Ritu Badaik, Shveta Rani, Thanda Moni Baskey, H Yashica, Anushka Kumari, Anwita Raghuraman, and H Dungdung.

Gurleen Kaur, Gurnaz Kaur, Pearl Fernandes, and Neha Saji are the forwards.
