A significant fire starts at the Modinagar textile mill

Ghaziabad: On Wednesday, a fire at a clothing manufacturing facility on Sikhera Road in Modinagar trapped four employees inside. There have been no recorded casualties.

Authorities believe Holy Star Export Limited’s fire was started by a short circuit.

At the time of the event, four workers were present inside the factory: Hemant Kumar from Bihar, Upendra Singh from Aligarh, Suraj Kumar, and Surendra Pal from Unnao.

As the fire spread throughout the three-story structure, the fire crew used an earth-moving machine to smash through the industrial entrance. In order to put out the fire and save the lives of people inside, four fire tenders were sent out.
According to an official, “medical professionals evaluated their condition after their rescue and confirmed they are currently in stable health.”
The Holy Star Export Limited fire was reported to the authorities around three in the morning.

At first, two fire fighters were sent out to put out the fire. But when they got there, they could see that the fire had consumed three stories. To put out the fire, two more fire tenders were sent. Rahul Pal, chief fire officer, said that a JCB was also used by fire personnel to break through the industrial door.

Fueled by garments and raw materials burning, the fire grew until it reached the third story and spread throughout the structure. “It took over four hours to completely bring the situation under control,” Pal said.
