After a quarrel with her husband, a mother in Uttar Pradesh murders three children by tossing them in a well
In a hamlet in this Uttar Pradesh district on Saturday, three children reportedly drowned after their mother threw them in a well as a result of an argument with her husband, according to police.
The kids were named as Akash (age 8), Kriti (age 2), and Anu (age 1).
The incident, according to the police, was reported from the Pajra village, which is close to the Sant Nagar police station. She also set fire to her home after dropping her kids into the well.
An FIR has been filed against the mother of the children who had thrown the kids down the well, according to Additional Superintendent of Police (Operation) OP Singh.

According to the police, Amarjit, a worker by trade, did not get along well with his wife Chanda. They used to argue often. One such dispute led to the lady taking the drastic action in a fit of wrath.
Police reportedly arrived at the scene and removed the remains from the well after learning about the tragedy.
The deceased corpses have been submitted for post-mortem examination, and legal action is being conducted in accordance with the law. Police stated that more inquiries are being made.
