Plans for a wedding conflict with a PM tour, and hosts need assistance

Bareilly: A couple planning to be married on the same day is worried about PM Narendra Modi’s planned roadshow in Bareilly on Friday since their location is located along the path the PM would follow.
The management of the wedding venue has been given instructions to restrict movement in the vicinity till the roadshow concludes. The district administration, UP police, and SPG have already started preparations.

“One wedding coincides with the roadshow, making relocation unfeasible due to limited alternative venues during the wedding season,” said the venue management. To address the issue, we are working with the government in coordination.

It starts in the Rajendranagar neighbourhood at 4pm and travels by more than a dozen hospitals. While ambulance mobility has been requested by hospital personnel, street sellers are cautioned not to sell on the side of the road or else they risk facing consequences. On April 25, Modi is scheduled to attend rallies in Bareilly and Shahjahanpur.

A hospital administrator said, “Due to the roadshow, limited movement is expected.” Although we appreciate the PM’s visit, we urge the government to guarantee very sick patients’ uninterrupted ambulance access.
According to police sources, 4,000 officers—eight of them are SP-rank officers—have been deployed with paramilitary forces, PAC, and SPG.
