“Commendable”: Chief Priest of Ram Mandir On Ayodhya’s Prohibition Of Liquor Stores

Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: Chief Priest of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Acharya Satyendra Das Maharaj, praised Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath’s decision to ban alcohol and meat stores in Ayodhya, stating that the action was very laudable.

Chief Priest Acharya Satyendra Das Maharaj of Ram Mandir referred to the opening of the temple as a “historic day” and stated, “The momentous occasion should be celebrated like a festival; hence, all alcohol shops should remain closed on the auspicious day and schools should be shut for the specific day.”

“The day of the inauguration of Ram Mandir on January 22 will be a historic day when Ram Lalla will be consecrated in the temple and all devotees will grant prayers to Lord Ram,” he said.

Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, received harsh criticism from Acharya Satyendra Das for referring to the opening of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple as a “gimmick”.

“She herself performs drama all the time, she is a sanatan virodhi and that is why she is calling the Pran Prathishtha ritual of Ram Mandir, a “gimmick”. Her remarks are abhorrent,” he said.

Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, caused a stir on Tuesday when she made comments criticizing the opening of Ram Mandir. In a speech to the public, Mamata Banerjee referred to the opening of Ram Mandir as a “gimmick” in advance of the elections.

“I think of a festival that brings people together and has conversations about everyone. Do as you like; you are pulling a practical joke before of the elections. I don’t mind, but it’s wrong to ignore members of other groups. As long as I live, I will never permit prejudice between Muslims and Hindus,” said Mamata Banerjee.

Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of Bengal, was mocked by the state president of the West Bengal BJP, who said that even though she received the invitation, she would not be attending the function.

“The Ram Temple’s unveiling is a very sentimental and emotional occasion. For decades, Hindus have been emotionally invested in this topic. The fact that the temple is almost finished and will be accessible to worshipers on January 22 is cause for celebration.

“She should accept her invitation to the consecration ceremony, CM Mamata,” he added.

“She is making the problem political. Why is she allergic to Lord Ram if she can go to Red Road (in Kolkata) for special Eid prayers or the Vatican for Mother Teresa’s ceremony? He said, “She would not accept the invitation to attend the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple since she is anti-Hindu.
