UP: Lightning Strike Causes 1 Death And 12 Injuries

On Saturday night, lightning struck the Porai Kala hamlet, which is located in the Khetasarai police station region of this Uttar Pradesh district, injuring 12 people and killing one laborer, according to authorities.

According to Shahganj’s sub-divisional magistrate Shailendra Kumar, a light drizzle began to fall in the region at 4.30 pm, and the workers immediately began to rush for shelter. 13 workers were hit by lightning at this time.

Dasi (60), who was excavating a pond, passed away instantly. Four workers, Kiran, Sita, Kanhaiya, and Kamla, were taken from the main health center to the district hospital after being hurt.
