There are many designs that are well-liked and go viral, but this one stands out since it has a completely different motivation for doing so on social media. Recently, a ‘Netflix and Chill’ rakhi appeared on social media, making internet users chuckle since the phrase is often used to describe couples engaging in sensual activities. The ‘rakhi’ quickly gained notoriety because to how humorously the design went against the festival’s overall ethos.

‘Shwinstet’ posted the article on Reddit. It said, “Found the athai ponnu special on Swiggy.” A screenshot of a “rakhi” with the words “Netflix and Chill” was included in the article. The ‘rakhi’ was called the ‘Netflix and Chill Partner Rakhi’ and priced Rs 199.

The majority of online users laughed and jokingly responded in the comment section to the uncertainty. People posted their opinions in the comment area. “When marketing wants memes but doesn’t know how to meme,” a user said. “Does Prime have one? I simply stopped Netflix,” a second individual said.

The Hindu holiday of “Raksha Bandhan” is joyfully observed all throughout the country. The gathering honored the ties that bind siblings together. This year, the event will be held on August 30.
