Ram Mandir Viral Video: Man Creates a Replica of the Ayodhya Temple Out of 20 kg of Parle-G Biscuits

The whole country is anticipating January 22—a day that is being heralded as nothing less than an Indian Diwali extravaganza—with great anticipation, ticking down the days. Why? Because there is a tangible sense of excitement when the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is officially inaugurated. There are other first-time events in India, such as a massive 108-foot-long incense stick and a heavy 2,100-kg bell that has already been given to the temple, which is generating a frenzy akin to a full-blown celebration.

A guy from Durgapur, West Bengal, is stealing the show amid this incredible build-up. Chhotan Ghosh gained notoriety for utilizing 20 kg of Parle-G biscuits, an unusual substance, to create a 4 by 4-foot model of the Ram Mandir. You did really read it right! Ghosh and his buddies worked on creating this one-of-a-kind masterpiece for almost five days. With the use of thermocouples, plywood, a glue gun, and biscuits, they painstakingly built a hallowed edifice that is now accessible for public viewing in their city.

Everyone in the community is in complete shock after seeing a video of the magic go viral online and become the talk of the town.

However, Ghosh is not new to creating astoundingly accurate duplicates. In the past, he attracted attention by building and displaying a Chandrayaan-3 duplicate as an homage to the creative brains at ISRO. And what do you know? This was no ordinary static sculpture; instead, it had a rocket that raised the copy to an impressive thirty feet or more above the ground.

As the nation’s enthusiasm reaches a fever pitch, the long wait of many decades is likely to come to an end when Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the Ram temple on January 22. Meanwhile, the focus returns to the Ram Mandir. As to the temple trust, the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ritual began on January 16 and the sacraments are scheduled to continue till Monday. So let the joyous spirit continue to resound till then!
