Russian girl gains popularity after going viral for peddling veggies on Indian streets; people like her for her simplicity and fun

A Russian girl was seen in a viral video selling veggies on the streets of India.

In the video, Marie was seen saying, “Sabzi betcha sikhao (Teach me how to sell vegetables)” to a vegetable seller in a sweet Russian accent.

The seller agreed.

Marie spoke with clients while embracing her inner Bollywood flair, even quoting the famous line from the film “Welcome”: “Aloo lelo, Canada lelo (Buy potatoes, buy onions).”

“Subah se na ek also bike hai, na bika hai aadha khanda (Neither a single potato nor half an onion have been sold since morning)” is one of the words she picked up fast.

It surprised me that she was joking with a client about the usual haggling that goes on in Indian marketplaces.

Marie shared a photo of her encounter on Instagram. She expressed her love for the tumultuous ambiance of the Indian bazaar. Marie described the busy roadway with horn-blowing automobiles, people hurrying by, and the odd cow in the path.

Since the video went viral, many people have seen it and have praised Marie for her positive attitude.

Because of her love for India, one social media user even advocated for her to get married.
