Election schedule for the Lok Sabha in 2024: on April 26, Ghaziabad will cast votes in phase two

GHAZIABAD: Ghaziabad is one of Uttar Pradesh’s 80 Lok Sabha seats. There will be seven stages to the Uttar Pradesh elections. June 4 was the date of the vote count.

Voting date: As stated by the Indian Election Commission on March 16, Phase 2 of the Ghaziabad Parliamentary elections would be held on April 26.

Important contenders for this seat include Nandkishor Pundhir of the BSP, Dolly Sharma of the Congress, and Atul Garg of the BJP.

2019 Ghaziabad Lok Sabha seat winners
With 944,503 votes, BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Singh scored a landslide victory in Ghaziabad during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. His overwhelming 501,500-vote win confirmed his election as the constituency’s MP. Since 2009, the BJP has dominated the parliamentary seat in Ghaziabad. The current Defense Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, won from the same seat back then.

Outcome
On June 4, the votes would be tallied concurrently for every seat in the nation.

Loni, Muradnagar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, and Dhaulana are the five assembly constituencies that make up the Ghaziabad Lok Sabha constituency, which was created in 2008. A total of 29.02 lakh people are registered voters in these locations.
