Former Bihar YouTuber detained by Tamil Nadu police joins the BJP

BAGAHA: On Thursday, the BJP hosted a ceremony at its headquarters in New Delhi. Manish Kashyap, a YouTuber who was detained last year for allegedly spreading false footage of migrants from Bihar being mistreated in Tamil Nadu, was there.

Kashyap has already declared that he will run as an independent from the Paschim Champaran Lok Sabha constituency. He became a member of the BJP in front of his mother.

It is said that Kashyap’s admission into the saffron party was made possible by the BJP’s Manoj Tiwari. Tiwari attended the event on Thursday as well.
According to Kashyap, his mother, who is a huge supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, encouraged him to join the BJP. On December 23 of last year, Kashyap was freed on bond.
Kashyap backed down from his previous declaration that he would not challenge Pashchim Champaran for the Lok Sabha seat. He said that he will keep working for the betterment of the country and its citizens.

“Some netas conspired against me when I was preoccupied with the same tasks. I was forced to spend nine months in prison as a consequence,” YouTuber Kashyap claimed.
Sanjay Jaiswal, the party’s Paschim Champaran contender and former BJP state president, meanwhile, hailed Kashyap’s BJP induction.
