Increase in Bihar’s Development Fund for MLAs and MLCs
According to an official, the Bihar government increased the MLA and MLC development money from Rs 3 crore to Rs 4 crore yearly.
Nitish Kumar, the chief minister, claimed this decision was made during a cabinet meeting he presided over.
According to the source, the Chief Minister Local Area Development Scheme (CMLADS) now allows MLAs and MLCs to employ a larger amount of monies.
The increase will take effect with the current fiscal year.
