For Rs 9,900, Apple is launching the AirPods Pro 2 USB-C Case. Who Is It For, Including Every Detail

Apple now sells the AirPods Pro 2 USB-C case as a separate accessory for current users. This is good news for those who have been eyeing the newest model with its new USB-C port but have already bought the Lightning variant and cannot justify spending an extra Rs 24,900 for the USB-C upgrade from the Lightning connector.

The MagSafe case is a great value for those who already own the second-generation AirPods Pro with the Lightning connection from Apple, which is selling it for Rs 9,900. In other words, there is no modification in size or anything of the kind; all you have to do is purchase the USB-C case and replace your old AirPods 2 earphones with the new one. Thus, Apple may have just saved you about Rs 15,000 if you were going to pay Rs 24,900 for a new pair.

Since the new case has already been featured on the store, you may purchase it on Apple’s website in India. Nevertheless, purchasing the case alone will not provide you the option to receive engraved AirPods; instead, you will need to purchase a brand-new set.

Additionally, I advise against purchasing this for your outdated first-generation AirPods Pro. It has been explicitly stated by Apple that they are exclusive to the second-generation duo. Apple states that the charging case is compatible with the second generation of AirPods Pro, which came with either the MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C) or the MagSafe Charging Case (Lightning).

It’s worth noting that Apple has previously provided customers with a different case. Prior to adding MagSafe charging to AirPods, the company began selling a case for the first iteration of AirPods Pro that was compatible with MagSafe.
