“Meity will assist users to very easily notify it about violation of IT rules and assist them in filing FIRs,” stated the minister.

Following a meeting with social media sites, he was addressing the media. Chandrasekhar said, “As of today, there is zero tolerance for violating IT rules.”

The minister said that a FIR would be launched against the middleman and that the material posting company will be named if they reveal the origins of the content.
