He remains the third wealthiest Indian, according to the Hurun ranking. His wealth has grown significantly, rising 36% to Rs 2.78 lakh billion.

Cyrus Poonawalla received his bachelor’s degree from Pune University. Later on, he received a PhD from the same institution. He received an honorary degree from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
