iPhone SE: Apple Dubbed the First-Generation SE Model “Vintage”; View The First SE Model’s Price And Specifications

The 2016 iPhone SE, along with other older iPhone models, is now part of the vintage collection of Cupertino-based tech behemoth Apple. The gadget, which is more than seven years old, was sold via Apple’s official channels until September 2018. It indicates that the product satisfies the standards for the company’s vintage label and has been off the market for more than five years. The company then designates things as “obsolete” once they have been out of sales for seven years.

Unlike conventional goods, some gadgets are not always repairable at Apple’s fix facilities or authorized service locations. The availability of the components affects the repairs. The business is still selling the 2022 model iPhone SE, which has a fingerprint reader based on Touch ID, in contrast to the “mini” version. The March model from last year is the most recent of the three SE variants that the business has launched.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2nd Gen and the Mickey Solo3 Wireless headphones (Special Edition) were also sold by the corporation under the vintage category, according to MacRumors. In addition, the Powerbeats 2 and Solo2 Wireless headphones were deemed outdated.

Worldwide, other iPhone models that fall into the antique category include the iPhone 4 (8GB), iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s (32GB), and iPhone 6s Plus (32GB). In the meanwhile, the iPhone SE 2016’s features and cost are shown below.
