The gadget, which is more than seven years old, was sold via Apple’s official channels until September 2018. It indicates that the product satisfies the standards for the company’s vintage label and has been off the market for more than five years. The company then designates things as “obsolete” once they have been out of sales for seven years.

The business is still selling the 2022 model iPhone SE, which has a fingerprint reader based on Touch ID, in contrast to the “mini” version.
