Mexican State Nuevo Leon Signs Agreement With UP for Investment in Tourism, Infrastructure, Pharmaceutical, and Agri Sectors

The government of Uttar Pradesh and the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon struck a deal on Saturday to invest in a number of industries, including tourism, infrastructure, medicine, and agriculture.

According to a formal statement released here, the agreement was signed by Manoj Kumar, the IIDC for the Uttar Pradesh, and Ivan Rivas Rodriguez, the minister of economics for Nuevo Leon, in the presence of Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Samuel Garcia, the governor of Nuevo Leon.

 

Adityanath expressed his greeting to the Governor of Mexico and the group that was traveling with him in a statement, adding that strong industrial ties between UP and Nuevo Leon are being developed with friendship, trust, and peace.

 

The governor of Nuevo Leon and his staff must look into the possibility of industrial investment in Uttar Pradesh, according to the chief minister.

 

He said that both Nuevo Leon and Uttar Pradesh are committed to growth, and “we are determined to carry forward this tradition” as Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads India to a prominent position on the world arena today.

 

The governor of Nuevo León reportedly said that Uttar Pradesh and Nuevo León are extremely close neighbors. He remarked, “We invite Team UP to Nuevo León,” adding that “we both have to increase trade with each other through mutual cooperation.”

 

There were representatives from Nuevo Leon, state fisheries minister Sanjay Nishad, industrial development minister Nand Gopal Nandi, and deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak in attendance.
