In Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, the cost of gasoline and diesel has increased.

Right now, a liter of petrol costs Rs 96.72 in Delhi, while a liter of diesel costs Rs 89.62. In contrast, a liter of diesel costs Rs 94.27 and a liter of petrol costs Rs 106.31 in Mumbai. In Kolkata, a liter of petrol costs Rs 106.03, while a liter of diesel costs Rs 92.76. However, in Chennai, a liter of diesel is sold for Rs 94.24, and a gallon of petrol for Rs 102.63.

The pricing of gasoline and diesel in India is set by oil marketing companies (OMCs) such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum. This is carried out every day, and rates are established based on the global price of crude oil.
