Union Minister Krishan Gurjar Calls on Business to Adopt Modern Technology to Survive

On Monday, Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar advised the sector to use cutting-edge technology in their operations in order to compete on a global scale.

Speaking during the opening of the “Advance Industrial Technology Demonstration Centre” at the National Power Training Institute (NPTI) in Badarpur, the Minister of State (MoS) for Power.

“Advanced technology is essential for the development of the nation. Today, Gurjar, who serves as the MoS for Heavy Industries, said that if we want to compete with the rest of the world, we must embrace cutting-edge technology.

According to him, decreased energy use will lower manufacturing costs across a range of businesses and help them compete in the market.

According to NPTI Director General (DG) Tripta Thakur, the combined contribution of the iron and steel, cement, pulp & paper, and textile sectors to India’s overall commercial energy consumption is around 30%.

According to her, “The institute, under the direction of the Ministry of Power, will educate these sectors on best practises and technologies to help them adopt energy-efficient solutions, which will lead to a reduction in energy consumption.”

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), which is part of the Ministry of Power, established the facility.
